The other reviewer is correct in that this costume should be called a marching band uniform, which is why it took awhile for me to find what I was looking for. Having a child who loves The Music Man I was trying to find something more official-looking since he was trying to turn anything into a costume. This costume is good quality (for a costume) and runs very true to size to the point of being a little snug. I would have ordered a size up if it had been available but it did fit well, even if he will outgrow it quickly. Overall I am very satisfied with the product and my son absolutely loved it.

This Death Trident is made of very thin plastic. The paint is fairly convincing, but it probably won't hold up in battle against bloodthirsty mermen or frenzied gladiators unless they also only have weapons of flimsy plastic. This product : Nerf :: pig iron : damascus steel. It makes for an intimidating visage, though.

Young Heroes Child's SWAT Police Costume, Small Review

Within two hours of my grandson wearing this outfit all four buttons on the shirt fell off and the seams on the pants ripped. The material is garbage. It is cheap, cheap, cheap, cheap. Sewing buttons back on on Christmas day and running out the next day to buy black pants wasn't my idea of fun!!

The return policy stinks.

Forum Novelties Southern Belle Dress, Child's Small Review

The only reason I am giving this a Four Star instead of Five as I ordered it Large [size 10-12 Girls] for my 9 Year Old who is 58" tall and it is at least 6 inches smaller in length on her than the way it looks in the picture. The skirt reaches her mid-calf length instead of ankle or longer. The Fit was perfect at the torso, waist and shoulders. The material used are Walmart quality [no surprize here as you get what you pay for] but it still looks very nice. It also had a hoop in the inside skirt to make the dress look poofy but I decided to take the hoop off by cutting it out and the outfit really looks great for the price. The Sleeves were also a bit short in length probably because the outfit is for much shorter 10 to 12 year old girls. My daughter still loves it and is quite happy with it. It could have been a dream come true if it ran true to size in length.

It's more of a generic queen of hearts but I got it at a great price. I would recommend leaving the boning out though unless you have a lot of room! I couldn't get through doorways without pulling the boning to the side. The bust and sleeves were a bit too big as well.

I ordered this uniform for my 8 year old son who loved playing football and wanted to look like a pro. The minute the box arrived, my son had a grin from ear to ear. He immediatly put the uniform and helmet on and posed for all kinds of action shots. The uniform was true to size and was of good quality. The removable shoulder pads are nice so that he can wear the shirt around in comfort when the pads get tiresome.
