The hair is a bit less real-like in texture than more expensive wigs, but it is not bad, considering that it is intended to be used for costume purposes. For some reason, the description says "it needs additional styling", but I did not find that to be true. The waves are perfectly shaped, ending in loose curls at the bottom. The only problem I had was that it has a pointy shape at the top (due no doubt to the packaging) but I am sure that after spraying with some water and letting it air out, that should smooth itself out. I am quite pleased.
