It was very cute but the material is so cheap and fragile. The first time I changed my child the bottom of the costume ripped. If the Velcro touches the material it damages it. The inside sewing job is a mess and I had to trim a lot of stray strings. The hat stayed on sort of, it would have been better if it attached to the back of the costume by Velcro or a snap. It runs closer to the 5/6 month size, a newborn or a baby that is a month or 2months old would be swimming in this costume. In all it worked for one night, unfortunately we need it for more than that.
