1238 (Large 14-16) Child Newsboy Costume Review

Bought this costume for my daughter...she's playing a newsboy in a local childrens' theater production. The costume itself runs a bit big...she's a solid 8 & the shirt is pretty baggy on her. The cap however, is sized for a baby/toddler. Plan on getting something else if the cap is an important costume element. The cap also has a decorative button on it that makes absolutely no sense. The shirt doesn't button all the way down, it has one button and then a false placket so your child will have to pull it on over his head...a consideration if your child needs to be able to dress himself in his costume as my daughter does for her show. All-in-all, the cap is a waste but the costume is cute. Not sure it's worth the price I paid, but it meant I didn't have to sew a costume for her, so money well spent!
