The fabric isn't bad and the style is really cute, way more than I expected for a costume. This looks just as good in person as on the website and it is sewn well enough for my daughter to try on and not rip while zipping the back herself. The hat is really cute, too, and is also well made. The only drawback so far is the netting along the bottom is itchy on the legs (we are hoping that stops with full-length tights), and the stiff fabric of the netting on the sleeves has made a little rash under the arms.

A source of disappointment for my daughter is the costume is not as full on the bottom as the picture. There is an extra piece under the skirt -- the costume skirt ends after the polka dot netting, the white part that hangs below is an extra crinoline that adds volume. I bought this costume for her in a small because she wears a 14 in kid sizes; this fit with very little room to spare. Order up on the size -- the corset on the front will allow for some adjustment, but not if it is too tight out of the package.
