Disney Brave Merida Costume - Size 2/3T Review

How do I place this costume... hm.. Let me compare to other costumes that are out there..
So.. as far as the Merida's costuems are concerned this would be the best in the category.
This is authentic Disney Store item. It is not a toysurus product by Disney and the quality
shows it. It is pretty nice. I was hoping it will be spectacular to say least as the picture
seem to be pretty good but this costume is actually just okay. I mean it is solid okay
but it is not spectacular.

My daughter was a great judge of it, she brougth and linned up all her costume candidates
for this Halloween and she did not give a second thought to it. She went with the Limited
Edition Snow White that is just dreamy. It is about, oh geee.. like thousand times
nicer then this Merida Costume but then again we paid for it quite a bit more too
as Disney Limited Edition Costumes will do that to you wallet :) but it is worth every penny.
I have to admit that as far as Merida is concerned it looks better on very little kids
to somehow go with the character. 5's and up don't look so IN-character in it.

I was really curious if my daughter with go this Hallowee with newest princess or
will she pick the best costume instead. She had a smart choice, she decided that
the Merida will be good for dressups but she is going to do Snow White ltd again
before she outgrows it as she wants to wear it to every possible occassion.
I think that she was absolutely the best looking girl when we went to Disney on Ice
and there was like easily a bazylion of dressed up girls, She was the best looking
birthday princess of any princess birthdays we ever went to (and make it 30 at least!).

Back to Merida - The quality is pretty solid, the style is pretty nice, The fabrics
are better then those on the costumes made at toysurus. Overall it is good costume.
I do recommend it. It is not breathtaking as the Snow White Limited Edition but it is
pretty okay.

P.S. This Merida costume is bit awkwardly sized.. it is bit too long for the style,
my daughter is perfectly within her size for all disney costumes and yet
this one is dragging on the floor. So it is bit too long, But if I go with smaller
size it would not fit. NO way. So my suggestion would be to get some safety pins
on stand by. Oh and BTW the costume looks much better of the child then on the child.
I don't know why.
