Like other posters said, this costume is made of very thin material, so I knew that when I ordered. But there is plenty of room to wear clothing underneath when you're going outside. I wore this for an adult halloween party with mostly friends from work. I really liked this costume and it was perfect for me (size 18/20). My only complaint is the skirt does NOT look like it does in the ad - it's a tad too short for my comfort and had to buy some white "spandex" shorts to go underneath, it did not reach my knee, like it shows in the ad.
