Bought this for belly dance. Was apprehensive about the quality due to the price, but it's a nice basic set. I ordered the med/large. The skirt has a hook and eye and does stretch fairly well. The only part about the skirt I don't particularly like is that it is very sheer, but I had figured it would be. It was made in Turkey, while the top and the hip scarf from China. The beads haven't come off yet as they are crocheted on and are fairly well in place. The skirt has sequin trim which I couldn't really tell from the photos, and the top is a little small and there is some "spillage" on the side. Overall, it's a decent set I think for the price.

I purchased two robes because these robes were available only in the size listed. The medium one came from skycostume and is very soft both on the inside and the outside. The one from Merchandiseonline is made from a thinner fabric and is rougher on the inside. It is more like a costume. They both show the same picture so I expected them to be alike. This explains to me why some people had different opinions on the products.

I was happy with the delivery time, and the price was much better than comparable equipment. I like what I got, but it is not exactly what is pictured above. The 4 breastplate hooks as shown do not exist. The front buckle on mine will require some repair, as the little metal roller either fell off or was never put on. Other than that, its a quality item as far as I'm concerned. The brass edging on the shoulder plates is a nice touch. Other segementata that I found on other sites looked exactly like this, but at twice the cost.

I can't imagine it will fit any one who's not an obese ex-basketball player.

My 12 year old daughter wore this costume for Halloween.
