My 12 year old daughter wore this costume for Halloween. It made her feel more grown-up, but with black leggings and long-sleeve tee underneath, covered everything I wanted covered, so it was a good compromise! LOL! She wore it to two parties as well as trick-or-treating and nothing fell apart. The hat is a little small and wouldn't stay on her head, so she pinned it to a headband to keep it on.
